The Arkpax Ark is the highest-capacity IP67 station in the Ark line that still travels as a single unit. 1500Wh behind a fully sealed, dust-tight, submersible-rated enclosure, with 1800W of continuous AC output across four outlets.
Four AC outlets and seven DC outputs give you eleven ports total, including a 100W USB-C, three 36W USB-C ports, two USB-A, and a regulated 12V/10A car socket. Surge capacity is 3300W, so motor-start loads like a compressor or a small pump won't trip it. The 20ms AUPS switchover keeps a CPAP, a router, or a chest freezer running through a grid drop without a reboot.
Recharge is fast. A 1000W AC input takes it from empty to full in roughly two hours. Solar input accepts up to 500W in a 15V to 48V window, giving a full solar recharge in about 4.5 hours under good conditions. Car and RV charging over XT60 is supported at 12V or 24V.
Read this before you buy: the Ark uses NCM cell chemistry, not LiFePO4. Arkpax rates it at 1000+ cycles to 80% capacity, versus 3000+ cycles for the LiFePO4 cells in the Ark Pro and Ark EVO. NCM buys you more energy density in a given case, which is part of how the Ark fits 1500Wh into this footprint. If you cycle a station daily for off-grid living, the LiFePO4 models will outlast it. If this is emergency backup, weekend use, or job site power, 1000 cycles is a long service life. We would rather you know this up front than discover it in year four.
Real-world capacity: using Arkpax's own published figures of 94% depth of discharge and 90% inverter efficiency, expect roughly 1,270Wh of usable AC energy from the 1500Wh rated pack. DC loads will do better since they skip the inverter. Rated Wh is not usable Wh, and that gap is normal across every brand.
The Ark carries a genuine IP67 rating, meaning full dust exclusion and protection against 30 minutes of immersion in up to one meter of water. Arkpax builds this with sealed module construction, a system drainage path, isolated inverter heat dissipation, and immersion detection. It is not a splash-resistant claim. That said, Arkpax does not recommend repeated or prolonged submersion, and neither do we.
At 49.5 lbs it is a genuinely heavy unit, noticeably heavier than the 38 lb Ark EVO. The two Hulk-Belt rope handles are included and make a two-person carry comfortable, but plan on this living in a vehicle, a boat, or a fixed backup position rather than being hiked in.
Best for: Marine and boating power • Off-grid cabins and remote job sites • Emergency home backup with UPS • Overlanding and vehicle-based travel • First responder and field operations
