The Renogy REGO 3000W is an inverter and a battery charger in one unit, built for RVs. On battery, it delivers 3,000W of continuous pure sine wave power with 9,000W of surge. Plugged into shore power or a generator, it passes AC through to your loads and charges your 12V bank at 5A to 75A, adjustable in 5A steps. When shore power drops, its 30A transfer switch moves you to battery in about 10 milliseconds.

It is certified to UL458 including the marine supplement and CSA C22.2 No. 107.1, with an integrated transfer relay and neutral-ground bonding. A built-in LCD and wired remote show system status, and Bluetooth connects it to the Renogy DC Home app or a Renogy ONE Core. It works with lithium, AGM, GEL, flooded and calcium batteries.

Size the battery to the load: at a full 3,000W, the inverter pulls about 260A from a 12V bank. Pair it with a REGO 12V 400Ah battery or two Renogy Core 300Ah batteries in parallel. The AC input and output are hardwired, so install it per Renogy's manual, ideally by a qualified installer.

Real-world numbers: on one REGO 12V 400Ah battery (about 4,352Wh usable), after the inverter's 10% conversion loss, a 1,500W load such as a microwave or roof air conditioner runs for about 2.6 hours, and a 500W load runs for about 7.8 hours.

Heads up: this unit weighs about 63.5 lbs. Plan the mounting location and leave 2" of clearance above and 4" on the busbar side.

Processing & Transit Times

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed after 3:00 PM Pacific Time may begin processing the following business day. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.

Estimated delivery is 2–7 business days after shipment, depending on your location and the fulfillment center your order ships from. Larger items may ship via freight and can take up to 10 business days.

Pre-Order Items

Items marked "Pre-order" are not yet in stock. The estimated ship date appears on the product page, in your cart, and in your order confirmation.

Payment: A deposit, shown on the product page, is charged at checkout. The remaining balance is charged to your saved payment method before your order ships. We'll email you before the balance is charged.

Shipping: Pre-order items ship once stock arrives, on or around the estimated date. Standard transit times (2–7 business days) apply after shipment, and shipping is free as with all orders.

Orders with in-stock items: In-stock items ship within the standard shipping window stated above. Pre-order items ship separately when available, at no extra cost.

Delays: If the estimated ship date changes, we'll email you the new date. You can cancel for a full refund, including your deposit, at any time before your order ships.

Declined balance payments: If the balance can't be charged, we'll contact you to update your payment method. If payment isn't received within 5 business days, the order may be canceled and your deposit refunded.

Freight & Oversized Items

Some products — particularly large power stations and solar kits — may ship via freight carrier. If your order ships freight, you may be contacted to schedule delivery. Please inspect your shipment at the time of delivery and note any visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing.
