Renogy Core Series 12V 300Ah Deep Cycle LiFePO4 Battery w/ Self-Heating, 3,840Wh, 200A BMS

The Renogy Core 12V 300Ah gives you 3,840Wh of LiFePO4 storage in one battery, with self-heating for cold-weather charging. Its 200W heating elements switch on at 32°F, and Renogy says they heat twice as fast as its earlier design. The heater needs a stable charge current above 10A per battery to activate.

A true 200A BMS handles 200A of continuous charge and discharge, enough to run a 2,000W inverter at full load. The IP65 case uses EV-grade cells rated for 5,000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge. Wire up to 4 in series, 4 in parallel, or 16 in series-parallel to build 12V to 48V systems.

Real-world numbers: rated about 3,840Wh (12.8V × 300Ah), about 3,264Wh usable (rated Wh × 0.85). That runs a 50W average 12V fridge for about 2.7 days, or a 1,000W load through a 92% efficient inverter for about 3 hours. The 2-pack doubles that to about 6,528Wh usable.

Heads up: each battery weighs about 61 lbs. Leave 2" to 4" of clearance above the battery and 8" on the busbar side. There is no Bluetooth on this model, so add a battery monitor or the Renogy Smart Shunt 300 if you want state of charge on a screen.
