The Renogy REGO 12V 400Ah puts 5,120Wh into a single LiFePO4 battery. For a full-time RV, that replaces a bank of four 100Ah batteries with one unit, cutting the cabling, busbars and balancing work. Renogy says the REGO design saves about 30% of the installation footprint and cable compared with a traditional multi-battery setup.

It self-heats automatically below 41°F when a stable charge current above 15A is present, and charges from −4°F to 122°F. Bluetooth and CAN (RV-C) let you monitor it from the Renogy app, a Renogy ONE Core or ONE M1, or an RV's own monitoring system. The aluminum case is IP65 rated and built to resist vibration, and the BMS carries more than 60 protections. Connect up to 8 in parallel for about 40kWh. Series connection is not supported. Available as a single battery or a 2-pack (10,240Wh rated, about 8,704Wh usable).

Real-world numbers: rated 5,120Wh, about 4,352Wh usable (rated Wh × 0.85). That runs a 50W average 12V fridge for about 3.6 days. Through a REGO 3000W inverter charger (about 90% efficient), a 1,500W roof air conditioner runs for about 2.6 hours and a 500W load runs for about 7.8 hours.

Heads up: this battery weighs about 128 lbs and ships by freight. It uses a gray Anderson SB350 connector, and the Anderson cable is not included. Plan your mounting location and cabling before it arrives.

Best for: Full-time RVs and fifth wheels • REGO system builds with the REGO inverter charger and DC-DC charger • Running roof air conditioning off-grid • Replacing multi-battery banks with one unit
