The Lion Energy Mil-Spec EMP Bag is a Faraday enclosure for storing a portable power station, radios, a laptop or other critical electronics. A copper mesh interior between a durable nylon shell and a nylon sleeve is designed to shield its contents from electromagnetic pulses (EMP and HEMP), solar flare effects and transient electromagnetic interference.

Will it fit? The interior measures 15" × 19.5" × 26", and Lion lists a maximum device size of 13" × 17.5" × 14.5". Check your station's dimensions against that before ordering. The Lion Safari (20" × 13.3" × 13.3") is larger than Lion's listed maximum device size.

Lion lists testing to MIL-STD-461G RS105, the military test standard for radiated transient (EMP) susceptibility. As with any Faraday enclosure, protection depends on closing it correctly and keeping the contents disconnected from outside cables.

Processing & Transit Times

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed after 3:00 PM Pacific Time may begin processing the following business day. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.

Estimated delivery is 2–7 business days after shipment, depending on your location and the fulfillment center your order ships from. Larger items may ship via freight and can take up to 10 business days.

Pre-Order Items

Items marked "Pre-order" are not yet in stock. The estimated ship date appears on the product page, in your cart, and in your order confirmation.

Payment: A deposit, shown on the product page, is charged at checkout. The remaining balance is charged to your saved payment method before your order ships. We'll email you before the balance is charged.

Shipping: Pre-order items ship once stock arrives, on or around the estimated date. Standard transit times (2–7 business days) apply after shipment, and shipping is free as with all orders.

Orders with in-stock items: In-stock items ship within the standard shipping window stated above. Pre-order items ship separately when available, at no extra cost.

Delays: If the estimated ship date changes, we'll email you the new date. You can cancel for a full refund, including your deposit, at any time before your order ships.

Declined balance payments: If the balance can't be charged, we'll contact you to update your payment method. If payment isn't received within 5 business days, the order may be canceled and your deposit refunded.

Shipping Rates

Free standard shipping on all orders to the contiguous United States. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territories.

Carriers

We ship via UPS, FedEx, and DHL, depending on product size and your location. You will receive carrier and tracking information by email once your order ships.

Freight & Oversized Items

Some products — particularly large power stations and solar kits — may ship via freight carrier. If your order ships freight, you may be contacted to schedule delivery. Please inspect your shipment at the time of delivery and note any visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing.

Damaged or Lost Shipments
