Renogy Flex ShadowFlux 100W/200W Anti-Shading N-Type Flexible Solar Panel, All Black, IP68

The Renogy Flex ShadowFlux is a 0.10" thin, all-black flexible solar panel built for the roofs that rigid panels hate: curved van tops, RV caps and boat decks. It bends up to 270° along its long axis, mounts without drilling, and weighs as little as 4.2 lbs.

What sets it apart is shade handling. Most flexible panels lose a big share of their output when a roof vent, rack or tree branch shades part of the surface. ShadowFlux uses 30 high-density bypass diodes, and Renogy's lab testing on the 200W panel showed up to 85% output under simulated partial shade (actual output varies). Cells are up to 18BB N-Type TOPCon at up to 25% efficiency, sealed to IP68.

Real-world numbers: in 5 peak sun hours, expect roughly 375Wh per day from the 100W panel and about 750Wh from the 200W (rating × 5 hours × 0.75 for heat, angle and wiring losses). One 200W panel covers a 12V fridge's daily draw on a sunny day. These are higher-voltage panels (44.1V open circuit on the 200W), so pair them with an MPPT controller or power station rated for that input voltage.
